My name is Josh Shano Daniel . I am an MSc Biotechnology student from St Xavier’s College, Mumbai. I have been awarded the YS Scholarship which makes me a part of the first batch of YS Scholars . First of all , I feel quite honoured to be awarded the YS Scholarship. The scholarship amount has covered the entire fees for the first year of MSc , something that has given me immense respite and has enabled me to focus purely on academics. The scholarship has acted like a bridge between me and my education, making my present much more stress-free and my future more secure. The YS Scholarship is an opportunity that I and many students like me direly needed and I would like to thank YS Scholarship for identifying the need for awarding the scholarships and considering me worthy of the same.
