Thanks to COVID and its countless variants, we spent most of the last two years at home! We don’t want to jinx it, but life is finally starting to feel normal again. As schools, colleges, and offices reopen, while there is still a risk out there, there is also an unmatched feeling of ‘normalcy’ that we can sense! Did anyone ever think the feeling of ordinary could become so far-fetched and extraordinary suddenly? Now we know! Our advice? Make every day count!

Speaking of counting, the countdown to New Year 2022 is almost beginning! What are your plans? Unlike last time, we were stuck behind our screens, wishing each other a prosperous new year through video calls, this time, we can actually celebrate! Spending time with family is a blessing but we’re sure you miss your friends! Although Omicron is just around the corner, waiting to haunt us, one good thing is that colleges are open, and with the right precautions, you can celebrate with your friends this time! Despite how much we want to go back to 2019 and party, we value nothing but safety – so that’s what we would advise you! Since you probably can not go to the party, let us bring the party to you!

Lucky for you, your-space is here for the rescue! At your-space we ensure maximum comfort, health and safety for you! All hostels are cleaned and regularly sanitized to ensure protection from the virus. Guess what? If you are at one of our safe and lively spaces, you are just where you need to be – at the party! So, gather all your friends, and read up! We are bringing to you 5 ways to celebrate the new year in a hostel – close to all your friends and the fun – away from any threat to your health!

What is one thing any party is lifeless without? Yes, you guessed it right, snacks! Stock up all your group’s favourite snacks and save them for the countdown! Whether you love chips, crisps, popcorn – or the evergreen Maggi – get together and collect all your favourite snacks before it is almost time to party! You can take a trip to your favourite grocery stores nearby or order online! Your-space’s prime locations make this step easy-peasy as the strategic location of our hostels is chosen to keep in mind the need of having utilities like grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, pharmacies and more – in the vicinity!

LIGHTS Camera Action!:

Let’s keep the camera on hold to caption all the fun from the party and light your rooms up! Since the holiday season is around the corner, it won’t be crazy to decorate a little early this year! Besides, who doesn’t love those twinkly little fairy lights, right? So go get some lights or maybe even a Christmas tree and decorate your rooms – so you can go crazy on those insta-perfect selfies on the eve!

Game Changer!

Just because you are not out there dancing under the disco light saying cheers and cheese, doesn’t mean you can not have fun indoors! Before your hit midnight, you can gather together and play your favourite indoor games. Whether you like to keep it keen with scrabble or go quirky and crazy with ‘Never Have I Ever’ – choose your pick! You can even plan a series of games and make it a game night! In our experience, Pictionary is always fun! If you are at your-space, you can use our beautiful recreational common lounge and play the night away!

Bake a Cake:
