One point that is worth noting about the north campus is that with all the colleges lined up very close to each other, gives you a campus feel. Whether it is hanging out or just walking and relaxing in the fresh air, you will always find a company here. Also, since all the colleges are connected to Vishwidalaya or GTB Nagar metro station, students don’t usually face any problems regarding conveyance to colleges.
The north campus is also entirely filled with very satisfying street food. The momo stall with 3 delicious varieties in Kamla Nagar, the Chatori lane where you will capture multiple, very famous food joints, the very well-known Sudama Ji ki tea stall where you can just gossip with your group or have romantic conversations with your crush, or the Sharma Kachori Wale food stall in Shakti Nagar, which is indeed very famous for its crispy Kachori with aloo curry, north campus gives you a full opportunity to make memories. All you have to do is find an adda for yourself, and you are set!
Along with street food, there are also very famous cafes in Hudson lane that serve a variety of cuisines at absolutely affordable prices. Some of the very famous ones are Bistro 57 in Kamla Nagar and Baker in Vijay Nagar.
Moreover, it also has many hangout places that surely will turn into your go-to places once you know them. While the Ridge in Timarpur is a go-to place, or one can call it an adda for almost all the groups of friends studying in North campus, Kamla Nagar Market is the same for all the shopaholics.
All the merits about shopping, food, crowd and conveyance mentioned above make the region affordable and of course, very crowded. But once settled, you will love the crowd as well.

Colleges in the south campus are relatively new when compared with those in the north campus. And so, the infrastructure here will tend to hold your attention. In contrast with the north campus, colleges here are scattered and thus, not all of them are connected to a specific travel system.
Just like the north campus, this region also provides mouth-watering cuisines at Greater Kailash M-Block 1 and Satya Niketan Market. South campus is also very famous for its shopping spots like Sarojini market, Lajpat Nagar, Hauz Khas Village, Select Citywalk and DLF Place in Saket, and South Extension Market
Facilities mentioned above make the south campus a posh area, and thus, accommodation here is quite expensive.

Although both the campuses have their own specialities, north campus is much more affordable and efficient. Due to the campus vibe that it gives, the crowd over here is friendly, healthy, but competitive as well. Another point where north campus wins over the south is its convenient metro accessibility. North Campus is like a mini-universe booming with energy and liveliness and the amazing part is that it is home to very famous and delicious food joints. If you are a foodie or would want to just relax with your mates after a tiring day, north campus is for you.
Shopping hubs in the south campus are a bonus point. If you are an introvert and prefer to have your own company, or an extrovert and crave for posh parties, the south campus will not disappoint you.
