Importance of Breakfast: You must have heard how breakfast is often called ‘the most important meal of the day, and that is not just all! As the name suggests, breakfast breaks the overnight fasting period. Since we sleep overnight and our body essentially goes without food for long hours, the first meal of the day plays a major role in how your body feels throughout the day. It replenishes your body’s supply of glucose to boost your energy levels and alertness, while also providing other essential nutrients required for general good health. If you ever look at a food pyramid, breakfast is supposed to be the heaviest and heartiest meal of your entire day. Skipping breakfast can be one of the cruellest things you can do to your body.

● 2 Whole Wheat Brown Bread Slices
● 2 Cheese Slices
● 2 Tomatoes, thinly sliced
● 4 Basil leaves (Optional)
● 1 tablespoon butter
● Salt and Pepper

How To:

● Spread butter on your whole wheat bread slices
● Add one cheese slice to both bread slices
● Add tomatoes to one of the bread slices
● Shake some salt and pepper on it
● Add basil leaves, or alternatively, lettuce to the tomatoes (optional)
● Cover the pile with the other bread slice. Have fun!

You Will Need:

● Oranges
● A bunch of soft dates (or your choice of dry fruits)
● A small bunch of mint
● 1 tbsp rose syrup or rosewater

How To:

● Peel and segment oranges into pieces. Remove the white layer from the orange pieces for the best experience
● Take a nice salad bowl, and these oranges into it
● Add dates or your choice of dry fruits
● Add mint leaves (chopped or whole, as per preference)
● Sprinkle rosewater or rose syrup!

● A cup of Greek yogurt (easily available in stores like Easy-day/Big Bazaar)
● A spoonful of cream cheese (Alternatively you can use sour cream or hung curd)
● 1 slice bread (100% whole-wheat recommended for the healthiest output)
● Kiwi, peeled and sliced
● Strawberries (sliced)

How To:

● Combine yoghurt and cream cheese in a small bowl
● Keep the mixture aside
● Take a slice of your whole wheat bread, and spread a generous amount of your yoghurt-cream cheese mixture
● Add a nice layer of sliced strawberries and kiwi fruit
● For an additional layer of healthy, you can add a sprinkle of mixed seeds, a dash of peanut butter or honey on top of it

You Will Need:

● Popsicle moulds (Alternatively you can use any freezer-friendly cups/glasses with a spoon/popsicle sticks in them)
● 1 cup of your favourite yoghurt
● A cup of chopped fresh fruits and berries (you can choose any regular and/or seasonal fruits that you prefer)
● A spoonful of honey
● 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
● A cup of muesli or overnight oats

How To:

● Take a mixing bowl and add yoghurt and chopped fruits to it
● Give the mixture a nice stir and combine the ingredients together
● Now, in another bowl, add honey and muesli and stir softly to combine them together
● Add layers of these two mixes into your popsicle moulds
● You can add layers of fruits to give a nice aesthetic touch

● 2 White/Brown Bread Slices
● 1 Cucumber (thinly sliced)
● Mayonnaise
● Salt and Pepper

How To:

● Take two bread slices and spread mayonnaise (or butter) on them
● Spread cucumber slices on one bread slice
● Shake some salt and pepper
● Cover the pile with the other bread slice. Have fun, stay cool!

● Vanilla Extract

● Dry Fruits/Fruits of your choice

● A night before you want to have the pudding, prep the ingredients
● Find a cup/glass/glass jar to do this
● Mix chia seeds, almond milk, and vanilla extract in your chosen container. By the next morning, the pudding will be thick and creamy.
● Layer with yoghurt, your favourite fruits or dry fruits

● Slice bananas into medium-thin circular slices
● Spread a hearty layer of peanut butter around each slide

● 3-4 bananas cut into chunks
● Sugar, as per taste (we recommend brown sugar, if available)
● Walnuts (or, nuts of your choice)

How To:

● Take a cup/glass/jar and add a dollop of yogurt to the bottom of it
● Add a layer of chopped bananas
● Add another layer of that tasty yoghurt
● Add sugar, as per taste
● Scatter chopped nuts over these layers
● Allow the sugar to dissolve, then enjoy!
● This hearty breakfast dish is best enjoyed when it’s refrigerated before consumption. Alternatively, you can use cool yoghurt, just as you buy it from the store!

● 1 Banana (thinly sliced)
● Nutella (of course!)

How To:

● Take 2 bread slices, spread Nutella evenly on them
● Take your sliced banana pieces and spread them across one bread slice
● Top it up with the other slice!
