Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Mumbai was established under the Maharashtra National Law University Act 2014 on 20 March 2014. The university has been a remarkable example in the field of law education, the university has established various research centres to spread education and encourage new findings - some of which are the Centre for Clinical Legal Education, Centre for Research in Criminal Justice, Centre for Maritime Law & Research, Centre for Research in Intellectual Property and Centre for GST and Training.
