COVID-19 – What are the additional responsibilities taken at your-space?

We are taking sufficient measures to ensure that all our properties are safe for our students. We follow a strict protocol which includes-

• Deep cleaning and sanitization of buildings, rooms and common areas
• All commonly touched surfaces cleaned every 2-3 hours
• All common areas to be used with reduced capacity to ensure social distancing
• All common areas equipped with sanitizers
• All room configurations arranged to ensure students are at a safe distance from their roommate
• Contactless entry to buildings with temperature screening, sanitization capabilities and facial recognition technology.
• All food is cooked by your-space employed individuals (no outsourcing) to ensure safety
  standards are adhered to. We are the only student housing company that does this!
• All support staff will be provided with protective gear such as masks and gloves and will be screened every day for temperature. They have also downloaded the Aarogya Setu app to ensure they are not in contact with high-risk individuals
• Further, there is a detailed SOP for all scenarios on which the your-space team has been rigorously trained over the last 3 months

Where is the Your-Space South Campus LSR hostel/PG located?

It is located in Greater Kailash C Block. It is only 3 mins away from LSR college.

Are guests allowed?

Yes, of course. Id proof is mandatory though. Overnight stay for friends and parents is

allowed after permission from management and respective roommates. However, we don’t

allow male guests beyond a certain time limit in the evening at female hostels and vice versa.

Do I have to pay any brokerage while booking a PG at your-Space?

No. We do not charge any brokerage from our guests. We have a fair and transparent rental structure.

Societies

LSR has several societies which students can be a part of such as the Public Speaking society which includes debating society and Model United Nations. It also has several Arts related societies such as Indian Music society and the Dance Society. Students can be a member of these societies and hone their talents and skills.

Student Union

LSR has an active Student Union Council which is like a bridge between the students and the college. Every year a new President, Secretary and General Secretary are selected amongst the students.

Festival

LSR organises an annual fest named Tarang, mostly in the month of February. The Festival is attended by students of colleges all over India. It is an excellent display of talent and art.

Campus Life

LSR has excellent facilities for students within the campus including auditorium and seminar rooms, Bookstore, Bank, Computer and Statistics Lab, Counselling Cell, Cafe, Medical Room, Library, Garden, Sports Facilities and On-Campus Housing.

LSR Cafe is one of the most talked about. It offers great food at affordable prices. There is great diversity in food including Kathi roll, Masala Dosa and Amritsari Naan etc, The cafe is most often called as the safe haven by students here.

Bookstore – LSR has a bookstore that is 40 years old. Here, you will find all the relevant course material and other fiction and non-fiction books for young minds. You will also find all the required stationery and gift items.

Garden – LSR has a beautiful much talked about the garden which is enjoyed by all the students. It has beautiful plants, shrubs and trees which provide an ideal environment for a relaxing time in nature. The garden at LSR has also won several awards and can be decorated by students interested in gardening.

Library – LSR has a well-equipped library with over 1 lakh books and also several publications written by the alumni themselves. The library is well stocked and has a digital database for recordings. The Library has a lot of reading space for students and also offers audio and video facilities for visually challenged students.

LSR On-Campus Hostel

LSR has a hostel with limited seats mostly for first-year students only. Preference is given to physically challenged, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes. Students who are domicile of Delhi/NCR cannot opt for an on-campus hostel. The hostel fee is around 67000 for two semesters and 5000 security deposits.
